REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• 100% Bilingual English/Spanish
• 2 years of recent full-time classroom experience as a teacher of record in any elementary grade from K to 6th grade
• fluency in the speaking, reading, and writing domains at a professional level in Spanish and English.
• Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident

Responsible for developing, submitting, and compiling lesson plans, projects, and activities as part of our intercultural curriculum that aligns to the AZ State standards, exit outcomes and pacing guides.

Mexicayotl Academy, Inc. seeks a qualified applicant for the position of 5th and 8th Grade Spanish Language Arts Teacher for our Nogales area location.  The 5th and 8th Grade Spanish Language Arts Teacher will develop and submit curriculum maps, pacing guides, and complete lesson plans that align to the ADE’s requirements and Mexicayotl Academy’s dual-language and Intercultural model as per the schedule stated by the Principal using the knowledge of Curriculum design and lesson planning; Data-informed, inclusive, and differentiated instructional practices; Technology integration in teaching; and the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish.  The position requires Bachelors Degree’s degree in Education, or foreign equivalent and two (2) years of experience as a Teacher.  Please apply by please submitting your resume or CV to: Dr. Ana Laura Prado (Principal) at aprado@mexicayotlacademynogales.com
